In the early Morning hours on the above date units from Odessa, Port Penn, Middletown, Townsend, Clayton and Smyrna we alerted to a working Residential Fire in the area of Main and Front Streets Odessa. Upon arrival of A-24 minutes after dispatch they advised fire showing through the roof of a 2 story single family dwelling. As 29 units arrived we went to work assisting units on scene in various tasks. We worked hand and in with departments from both New Castle and Kent County, DE to mitigate all hazards and bring the fire under control. A special thank you to Wilmington Manor Fire Co. Rescue Engine 28 for covering our district while we operated on scene.
