On the above date Stations 1-5 and 29 were alerted to an MVC with Entrapment at the intersection of McCoy Road and Kirkwood St.Georges Road. Upon arrival on 1-5-8 he advised 1 heavily trapped in a delivery van being the single patient in the 2 vehicle MVC. Rescue Engine 1-5 and 29-6 arrived and began extrication on the trapped occupant. After several minutes crews from both companies worked to free the trapped victim and turned him over to BLS 1-5 and New Castle County Paramedics on scene.The single pt was transport by ground to the trauma center for evaluation.
